How to Use bmo.com/activate

Open the activation page
Go to https://www.bmo.com/activate in your browser.

Sign in to BMO online banking
Enter your existing BMO online banking username and password, then click Sign In.

Enter your card information
Type in your card number, expiry date, and the CVV security code.

Click Activate Now
Press Activate Now and wait for the confirmation screen. Your card is ready to use right away.
If You Don’t Have BMO Online Banking Yet
If you have never registered for BMO online banking, you must set it up before using bmo.com/activate.1
Start registration
On the bmo.com/activate page, click Register Now instead of signing in.

Verify your identity
Enter your BMO card number and personal details to confirm your identity.

Choose a username and password for your BMO online banking profile.
